Sept. 11: Prof. Miana Plesca one of 16 academics set to research Canada's growing skills gap

Economics Professor Miana Plesca has been awarded a $21,580 SSHRC grant to research Canada's skills gap. Miana is part of a team of 16 academics who have received more than $375,000 in funding to investigate this issue. Her research will focus on finding gaps between skill demand and supply, and how these apply to the Canadian economy. Read "Government of Canada Invests in Research on Labour Market Issues" [1]
